one thing the nurse told me about going on the clear liquids was to take the time to put the broth in a bowl and actually use a spoon - she says this fools the stomach I don't do that because I am a sipper but I thought I'd pass along the tip..

pulling for ya month-mate -- you're doing great KEEP IT UP!

Honestly, NOTHING is going to feel like satisfaction at this point...the slimfast shakes are a good idea...something else that might help are the special K protein waters...they will satisfy you for a little longer. TRY to distract yourself...watch movies, go to the movies, go to the mall and 'pre-shop dream' for your NEW thinner style. My distraction was cleaning the house within an inch of it's life! I've been a white tornado though my house this weekend Lynda, and it's keeping my mind off both th surgery and my need for real actual food.

Default Fruit Bars!

i dont know if this will help.... but my doc said that i could have ALL NATURAL and NO SUGAR ADDED fruit bars... they are really good.. and i believe they are made by dryers.. these are also good to have post op... i found that the cold seemed to almost trick my stomach into thinking that it had more in it... i dont know... call me wierd.. lol.. but all in all... they are GOOD!
