[quote=Lu Lu;270144] Well I met with my surgeon and I weighed in at a 22 pounds loss. She said most patients lose between 20 and 40 pounds.

I don't even know your doctor and she's pissing me off! She said 20-40 pounds average weight loss...now that is a big margin! So that should tell you (and the doctor) that everyone loses weight differently...and you went OVER the lower "average loss". Be proud of what you have lost and follow her instructions to a "T" and you will continue to lose the weight! Do NOT be disappointed in yourself...you're doing really well!!

Like another poster mentioned...when was the last time you lost 22 pounds and knew it wasn't coming back to get you!?!?

Default That is a good loss, my dear!

My first post-op visit I didn't lose as I had hoped, but the second post-op visit I lost a lot more. It is a good loss. This is just the beginning of your beautiful journey.

I need to exercise more too. I really only have been walking and doing household stuff. We can do this, chica! You have a lot of support here :-)
