Default Slight complication - possible stricture for me as well....

I am 4 weeks post op and becuase I was throwing up non stop with anything I ate OR drank, they have put me back on fluids and are encouraging hot fluids to hopefully loosen the scar tissue from my "thumbelina"

I'm bumbed.

I am tired of drinking. I want to chew things. I had hoped to have a considerably smaller but similar Easter dinner with my family.

Oh well - Cream of Chicken soup for me.

Sorry to hear of your troubles, Philly, hope things soon subside and you get that Easter meal, even if it's a bit belated!
Hang in there,

Hopefully the warm liquids will fix it. Sorry you had this setback! Think of the weight you will lose drinking soup instead of eating salty ham!! Hang in there and post to let us know what happens!!

Sorry that you're experiencing this "bump" in your weight loss journey. But know that it is such a small time frame...and then you'll be able to enjoy small amounts of whatever your POUCHIE lets you!

Good luck.
