They took al that stuff out for me the day before I left the hospital (was in for 5 days). Being a big girl with a new zipper up my tummy...I really wanted that Foley to stay in permanently - it made life so much easier (of - and I wanted to take my anethesiologist home and marry him so I could keep the epi pump in...).

Give her a gentle squeeze for me - it does get better each day. I think those who have it open generally go through hell week double the time, but she will make it through...I promise (I did ). Skype me if you need any help...
