Default EGD on Wednesday!

Well I went back to work this weekend. I work 16 hour days on Saturday and Sunday and then every other Wednesday. It's nice to get it all over with.

I did really well working and keeping up considering working from 8 am to midnight. However I am still having food issues. I vomited after breakfast lunch and dinner Saturday and then again after lunch and dinner on Sunday. It seems I can not tolerate puree foods any longer. It's been touch and go for quite a while so I called the doc on Sunday and we set up an EGD for Wed. I am hoping that is what is causing me to vomit. The only types of food I can keep down is watered down oatmeal, water, yogurt, and applesauce. I had to cut my workout short today as I felt nauseas. Sometimes I have a hard time drinking the protein drinks.

I don't know what else it could be. I just want it to stop.

Jessica

UGH! Sounds like it could be a stricture. Good luck and let us know what happens.

Hopefully its something they can fix easily. Those are some long shifts you are putting in. That can't be easy either. Hope you get better soon!

It does sound like it could be a stricture. I'm glad they are getting you in and hopefully taking care of whatever you have going on.
