Default OMG. I bought size 18 jeans today!

I'm really thrilled and had to share. I started at size 28 so I've gone down 10 sizes. Since Dec. 13th, I've lost 70 lbs. These jeans are pretty tight, but hey - it's nice to be able to zip them. I've got a ways to go - probably 100 lbs - but I'm inspired today.

I wanted to say thanks to you guys. I don't post much (I'm really shy) but it has helped tremendously reading your triumphs and travails. You've all done so well and it's good to go through this with someone. Support is critical for this surgery - so thank you very much.

Thumbs up Wow!

Harrison,

Congratulations!!! 70 lbs since Dec 13th, that's great! I've just started on this journey, and I can't wait until I can get back into a regular pair of jeans. I haven't posted much either (shy too), but this web site has been soooo encouraging and helpful since I started coming here before my surgery. Anyway, just wanted to say congrats and keep up the good work.

Thumbs up Harrison,

I started at size 28/3X and am now a 8/10. I totally understand what you are feeling right now. It's like walking on air. What a significant milestone for you. Congratulations Girl and welcome to the forum.

You're beautiful!

Congrats on the 18. That is such a big deal. I know you must be so happy being able to buy something with a one in front of it instead of a 2. Keep up the good work and don't be shy. We want to give you props every step of the way because we have all been there and done that with you.

Looks like we are neck and neck. I was wearing a pair of 18 jeans from the "regular" size dept. today and got many compliments. Mainly because they fit......THEY FIT?? Oh my gosh!! They fit!! Ya know what I mean, don't ya.

Anyway, congrats you....we are doing great!!!

Default Yay!!!!

Congrats on your wonderful achievment!!! That is such an awesome feeling that NOBODY can take from you, because you EARNED IT!!! YAY!!!

Pretty soon.. you'll find that those 18 are too dreaded big for you. Sandi has my old 18's.. my favorite pants that were handed down to Tracie and now Sandi.. that was a huge milestone for me and I know it is for you as well. Wishing you nothing but continued success!!! Pretty soon your small sweats will be too darn big.. where do you go from there?? I'll let you know when I have the guts to try clothes back on again..
