11 lbs. That's awesome!

I had an awful time with pureed foods! My nut finally told me not to worry about actually pureeing things, it was just making me gag and I couldn't eat it. She told me to eat softer foods and just chew them to a puree. Teeth make excellent blenders! You are doing so good! I wouldn't worry about the saltines. Heck, you put one in your mouth for a few seconds and don't even chew and it's mush. You go, girl!

Katie - just a thought......what protein drink(s) are you taking?

Early out, I had the same problem when I drank either the Carnation Instant Breakfast stuff (with milk) or one of the other protein drinks (powders) - sorry, I can't remember the name.

The doc suggested I try the New Whey Vials and I never had a problem after that.

I've tried the powdered protein drinks recently and they're fine now although I still have a problem with milk.

I've been using UNjury since surgery... I did try some "new" foods in the past couple of days - cottage cheese, refried beans, tiny bit of salsa, tiny bit of Prego and a little shredded cheddar... I'm thinking one of those ingredients is the culprit...

I'm scared to put ANYTHING in my mouth right now... and I do believe I'm "EMPTY."

Duckie: Nothing HERSHEY about it... more like BILE BURSTS...

and I've seen bucket's o'bile in my DH's past experiences...
