Default My first lil WoW

Last night I was home alone. The kids didn't have school today and wanted to stay the night with their grandparents and DH was on the rode. I was sitting in bed watching Lost and bored out of my mind. Thoughts were churning and I thought I should go through my closet and see if I can fit into the next size down. Since surgery I have yet to drop a pants size. I was in a 24 so I dug through the closet and found a 22. OMG they fit I was really excited and started to dig some more. I couldn't find any other 22's but I found a pair of 20's. I pulled them out and thought well I will be able to wear this in a week or two. I sat them on my dresser but something in me just couldn't leave it alone. I had to try them on. Guess what I am wearing them to work today. Walking the halls feeling Oh so good!
I went to check in with the secretaries this morning and they were like wow you are really losing the weight. I was grinning from ear to ear and said yep down 2 pant sizes!

I'm right there with ya. It's sooo exciting. I went shopping yesterday and went from a size 24 to a size 16. I about died. It's a good feeling isn't it?!

Thumbs up Losers are looking good!

Kim ~ Way to go! Isn't it great when people notice? And awesome weight loss girl!

Godsblessedme ~ I too am going down in sizes, but have decided to buy only 1 or 2 pairs of jeans to get me through the next stage. And cheapo jeans...aka Walmart.

Isn't it great to know that we will no longer need those larger sizes!?!?! Yeah!

Default Congrats

I love WOW moments. Im expecting one tomorrow when I pick up my son at the airport. He has been living with his dad since august of last year and has not seen me. Also, really cool story...My youngest son who is nine turned to me one night in January (we were waiting for a lane to open up at bowling alley) and said, "you almost look like a normal girl." Yes, it was almost insulting, but I accepted it as a compliment. Two nights ago, this same little boy was able to wrap his arms all the way around me and he squeezed me so tight it was awesome. Ok, last story.....On our dirve down to WA I washed our clothes at a hotel and my daughter wears an 18/20 so I have been in a 22 but said Im going to try her pants on and they looked really good on me. I LOVE MY WL! Im so freakin happy for each and everyone of us! I only wish more people can this life changing experience. Maybe Ill have to become a lobbyist for WLS. Take care. Jen
