Default Is your goal weight realistic for you?

I stumbled across this information tonight and I found it interesting. It is a way to calculate your "Happy Weight". It takes into consideration your height, age, body frame size, if you've had children, etc. I figured out my own "happy weight" and found that the goal I had set for myself was pretty realistic for me. I came up with a happy weight of 150.6. Nice to know I'm striving for a realistic goal.

So people, what is your happy weight? Care to find out?

:pTried it but not realistic for me

At 6ft it reckoned a happy weight would 176pounds, I would be a stick insect. I would be perfectly okay at 215 or roundabouts or a UK size 14 (US 12) long way from the size 50 that I once was.

It says I should be 140 pounds, but I still think that's a little low? I dunno. That would mean I need to lose 190 pounds.

Uh, yea.. well, I'm trying to get to 180 at a little over 6'... I'm currently in a sz 14, so I figure at 180 I might be a 12. (Wow. A 12. LOL Sorry, sidetrack.) But your site says my happy weight is 170? I can't even seem to get any lower than I am right now... stupid plateaus.

Thumbs up Worked for me!

My "happy weight" was stated as 158.3 not sure where the .3 came into the equation. And I agree with it!

Yep, it figured me at way below goal....which is 12 lbs less than I am right now! I was, for just a few minutes, a few lbs MORE than the happy weight....and my face was a little gaunt and made me look older.

My Happy weight is 129.2 and my Goal is 130 so I think .8 lbs won't kill me

I be happy to get to 150 and I would look horribly bad if I go much bellow my goal, so I be happy with my happy weight.
