You won't pop it, but it still is healing. Think about your new pouch as a baby's tummy..

And if it was liquid, and after 6 hours, it seems to be draining well...

Try to get some containers that are like 1/2 cup. I bought rubbermaid ones. I know I would put my food into those and knew I could only eat half. Put the rest for later. It was a help, because then there was no guessing.

Most of the time if you eat too much for your pouch you will vomit. It is VERY rare to 'pop' your new pouch.

It is so hard getting around the head hunger, the op doesn't deal with that unfortunately. Measure everything, that way you won't suffer again. Also in case you are like me, don't gulp liquid, I forgot again today and swigged back some juice and it hurt going down, don't know why.

Measuring is a good idea and sip sip sip. Warm broth was something that seemed like I could get down more of than other liquids in the start. Unless it hurts or you throw up it should be ok. Its always good if the thought crosses your mind that your should call your doc. that you probably should.
