Default 14mm ulcer surgery possible

Well i saw the Gastro doc yesterday and i have two 14mm ulcers that are causing my stomach pain and nausea. So one of them is where they "Hooked me back up" so he called it and that is the one he is most concerned about. SO i have the EGD done again in eight weeks and if it is 60% healed then no problem we stay on the meds. If not then it is back to the chopping block to have that part of my bypass done again,so they can remove the ulcer and let fresh tissue heal. So keep me in your thoughts i don't want to be cut again.......

Kasey, sorry for your ulcers. Did you have before the RYGBP? Are you eating spicy?
I hope you will get fixed with the drugs, otherwise I wish you all the best.
Take care

Awwww Kasey, my fingers are crossed for you! I don't blame you one little bit for not wanting more surgery. There's a little prayer heading up for you that the meds do the trick!

What a drag, Kasey,
to have all that's going on in your life and then add such a serious health problem to the mix. I've had ulcers, I know their pain. When I was 19 I had a bleeding ulcer the size of a silver dollar....don't know mm's...I was in the hospital for a week on the surgical watch, being typed and x-matched for blood and not being able to eat, it was a real PIA. I'm certain the 14mm is probably pretty close to the size I had, so I empathize hugely.

Best of luck to you, Dear, and keep us in your heart--we're here for you. Come here; vent, cry, be scared, be pissed,......be. Remember that your cyberfam is here for you 24/7 and cares, k?
