Default Bad news from EGD

Well i had an EGD monday and guess what i have two large deep ulcers in my intestines. Doc had to biospy them and we will get pathology back in two weeks. He sat me down and told me what ever i was stressing about was now taking a psycial effect on my body and i needed to do something about it. So i have been worring about the problems between my husband and i that it is making me sick. I wish i could just find the strength to do what i know i need to. I am just scared my kids will hate me for it and i want them to be happy. However, what good am i to them if i am sick.

I'm really saddened by your situation - I grew up in a bad parental environment.

No one can tell you what to do sweetheart but I'll always remember catching a Dr. Phil. He said something along the lines .... the only thing worse than being in a bad marriage for X years is to be in a bad marriage for X years and a day.

Think I sent you a private email about this.

My wife and I called it quits after 16 years of marriage in mid November. No yelling, no arguing. Just a clean cut break up. (I ended up staying with the boys - they are teenagers and just decided to stay with me)

I'm not saying this is the best solution but sometimes its the ONLY solution. I would rather be alone then with the wrong person. (Yes I feel very alone right now but I'm sure I will find someone down the line)

The last 5 years have been really really rough. It was just something that was inevitable. (we saw it coming a long time ago and the time just seemed right)

Best of luck to you and I sincerely wish you the best. I know what you are going through right now. Don't let this destroy you from the inside out. You are a butterfly that has blossemed and your beautifull colors are showing through.

Kasey - I hope you can find the strength to do what you need to. Remember - if you err in a decision it is best to err on the side of what is best for your children - even if they are angry about it in the beginning. I have been struggling with the same issue - although my children are adults.
