CONGRATULATIONS! WElcome to the loser's bench! Don't worry about your protein right now. Just get in as much fluids as you can.

Congrats! You won't be able to get in 90g of protein a day at this point. My surgeons told us to get in 40g a day at this stage. It's more important to get in the protein drinks now than any of the fluids. The Isopure drinks were a God send as I did get sick of the milk based shakes after a while. I pureed beef veggie soup and would add some whey protein powder to it. Helps when you want something a little salty. As funny as it sounds, it may take 15-30 min to down that 2oz protein drink. This is normal. It will get easier and easier. It was about a month before I was actually able to get in 64 oz of fluid. Good luck to you! Sue

I agree with the Isopure drinks. I am 2.5 weeks out and I can drink at least one of them a day. I tried those smaller shot like protein drinks and I can't handle them although a lot of people like them and then you don't have to drink as much.
Thank goodness for those Isopure drinks.

Welcome home I be right there soon too, well in the loosers bench that is, not at your place so you can unlock the doors now hehe is safe.

I purchase some isopure from the doctors office, at first was like, yack, but I am a stuborn one, and kept taking little zips of it, and now I really have built up a taste for it, just ordered me 2 3lb of the Mango peach and Pineapple Orange Banana flavors, am planning on living by it as soon as I am home, for at first, then slowly introducing the milk shakes, I like designer whey, and the local pharmacy had them on sale right after christmas at buy one get one free, so now I have 6 cannisters of the stuff, but tried not to get too many so In case I get bored with it, it don't go stale before I go back to it.

Anyways, I did not ment to ramble on, I have a tendency of doing so lol.
Welcome home and looking forward to see your success .

Congratulations and welcome home.

I relied heavily on the New Whey Vials (42g protein) at your stage. I mixed half a vial with some matching Crystal Lite - it only added 1 1/2oz liquid but it was a good way to get 21g of protein down me AND have my liquids at the same time.

Liquids are the most important thing right now. Just do what you can - it does get better, I promise.
