hi carla, I am 10 days post op today and it was really nice to hear I was the only one doing the same thing. I can not drink any milk or protein shakes as they just seem to blow me up like a ballon. I did a protien shake yesterday only 1/4 cup over an hour and thought I was dying. I haven't had to take any pain meds since being home and this almost sent me over the edge. Thank God for the forum and I figured out it was just gas, before I went to the ER. My husband patted my back like a baby for over an hour and some came out, but last night vomited and today I feel like a new person. I can even tolerate my water now without burping a million times. Good luck and I hope you feel better too.
