Default Stressed

I am a year out and I have stopped loosing and not only stopped but I have gained 7 lbs in the last month .. Is there anyone here who has starting gaining so soon after surgery? I think of myself as healthy , I eat right , drink lots of water , I get most of my protien in each day , I havent been working out since moving to Virginia from Ca. < I have all the excuses in the world and none of them matter at this point .. I need some encouragment , I have came a hell of a long way and I will be damned if I regress.. Any ideas on how to kick start the loss again ? Do I need to go back to the first few months post op eating basicly nothing , eating the last few weeks makes me sick and not in a physical way but mentally .. does any of this make any sense or am I just rambling .. I do not want to fail at this tool I was given...
Please I need some advice from my TT family right now

Hiya - Do you exercise? If not, you might want to start as that can boost your metabolism. Most importantly, though - are you still following the rules?

On a side note - I see that you are in Va Beach...while I don't live there now because I am in the frozen tundra they call Buffalo...my dad lives there and I will be visiting him from the 22nd-the 26th of December - if you're around maybe we can go grab a Starbucks or something?

I am 1 year 5 months post op and I too and dealing with the stop in weight loss. The problem for me is that I can now eat more then I could.. which I enjoy by the way because it was close to nothing before. I also can eat a wider variety of foods. I have jumped from 160 to 170 up and down for the past 2.5 months.. my body just does not want to loose anymore. I know what has to be done so I uped my running to everyday instead of 3 days a week.. I still work out 3 times a wek with my personal trainer. I am now 167 as of this morning but no telling what the all might scale will tell me tomorrow. For me.. as long as I know I am working out.. and trying to make healthy choices then I am ok staying between 160 and 170 for now. The best thing you can do is just get out there and walk/run.. work out. You have to burn those calories. If you do not walk just start off light.. 2 to 3 times a week and build up. But it's good you are aware of your body and want to stop it before it gets out of control. Good luck to you!
