Default lil worried

ok so today im in the shower... and i tilt my head back a lil and all the sudden my heart is racing a mile a minute, im so dizzy and about to pass out... i feel like im going to have a heart attack , i was shaking and I threw up. I have noooooo idea where it came from , but it completely scared me as i am only JUST turning 1 week post-op.

It felt like I had just run a marathon.. and still my heart is racing, not as bad though. I had chicken soup 90 mins or so before and i have had it plentyyyyy of times this week, so it doesnt sound like dumping, but literally scared the crap out of me.. and my mom...

has anyone ever had this? Im a generally healthy 23 yr old girl.... i dont get it... i was kinda worried and will be calling my surgeon tomorrow.

it is good to see your doc.
I have had bouts of racing heart rate and it seems to be related to dugestion.
Nothing really related to too much.
your body has been altered in a crazy and intense way.
It could be trying to adjust.

Let your doctor thoroughly check you and if your heart is fine, I would say try to relax and take it one day at a time.

If your still on Blood Pressure meds 'STOP'. Call ur PCP and ask them if you can stop taking them.

I fainted the first week. (I had never fainted in my life) cuz I stayed on my blood pressure meds and I was losing crazy weight and not eating enuff. My blood presure was way too low.

Just a thought.

Default Heart Racing

Just a comment, I had something similar happen when I ate too fast. I was just not paying attention, and the heart raced, and I got dizzy. I probably could have vomitted(yuck), but it passed. Made me not want egg salad for a long time.

My 2 cents,

Jeff

I get this sometimes...also when I stand up way too fast? My doc said it's because I'm not drinking enough water... ~shrug~ Who knows.

Call your doc just to be safe.

This happened to me several times in the weeks just after surgery. My doc told me it has to do with the hot water and the dehydration you're probably experiencing due to the change in the amount you're eating. You should talk to your doc. Good luck.
