Default Bear Update

Just a quick update from the bear. I got some temporary work at the local University. It will be a lean Christmas at this rate, but at least I will have just enough to pay child support and medical insurance. *fake smile*

So what’s new…
Let’s see. I have been hit on three times since surgery. How funny is that? The first was a lady at the Wal-mart parking lot. The poor thing just had no clue. I did not have the heart to tell her I switched teams 10 years ago, but of course I was kind to her.

Then there was the handsome red headed graduate student that asked me out. He looked like Kris Kringle. Of course I was kind, but I bashfully evaded his maneuvers. I mean come on.. he is just a couple years older than my son! So Merry Christmas Kris and bah bye!

Finally, some guy I have never seen before shows up at my office where I am working and goes out of his way to introduce himself. I was actually speechless. We both were at a lack of words. I thought, “Oh nice. Introduce yourself and then have nothing to say… you UNIBOMBER! Next!

It is nice to get attention. Maybe I got it before but was naïve? Who knows? At first I thought it was in my head, but well the unibomber keeps coming around to talk. This smile of mine can get me in trouble!

Besides that. I eat SOUP! Someone give me a hell yeah or AMEN! That is my life! I eat other stuff, but let’s be honest.. I live for the broth. I have lost 40 lbs. Imagine that! But also imagine me in my clothes.. scary! I really need to go to Goodwill, but for now.. I will deal.

Well that is it for now. Thinking of you all as I suck down a protein shake!

Group hugs!
Jeff

Jeff Honey... if you go to Goodwill, either visit your home bathroom first or wear Depends!

Congrats on all the progress you've made so quickly - and for the temp. position!!!

Your Fan,
Katie

Hi Jeff. congrats on your temporary job!! Soup is my life, too. I have to make myself eat because it gets old.

Don't forget the clearance racks at Walmart for clothes. I find great stuff there a lot of times for under $5.

I probably eat too much soup...but it is so good, and goes down beautifully! (Especially the Egg drop soup I mentioned in an earlier post!)

Keep up the good work, buddy! I enjoy reading your stuff!

Amen, brother! Hell yeah! I'm glad you're doing well and that your sleek new shape and baggy clothes are having such an effect on the locals...
