Default I had my post-op visit today

I didn't lose any weight but I didn't gain either. With all the talk about weight gain due to fluids in the hospital I am grateful. The sucky thing is that I have to do clear liquids for another week. I was so ready for him to move me to the next phase because I am bored and am not consuming much other than my water & protein shakes--I'm having to force myself to do the clear liquids. I still find it so weird to have zero appetite (but can I say I LOVE it). SO I went to Walmart & got some more sf jello and soup for broth & a couple of new decaf herbal teas. I have plenty of sf popsicles.

Thanks, Toony! I am doing great just ready for some different flavors & textures but I know it will be worth it in the long run.

Jeri I am glad to hear that you are doing good. The weight will soon come off. When is your next appointment? I am not sure how often the follow ups occur.

Thanks, Kim! I know the weight will start coming off. One thing Dr.Ganta said was I need to start making sure to get 800 calories a day or my body will think it's starving. So I do have to start watching that.

My next visit is in the middle of December--that's the 5 week follow-up. I'm not sure how the visits go either.
