I stalled out too right about a year. What I did was to kick up my protein to about 100 grams from 70 grams. It kick started it for awhile. Now I'm 21 months post-op and haven't lost for the past 6 months, except what I lost from my plastic surgery. I'm like 5-10 pounds from where I want to be and even with increased protein it isn't budging. Right now I'm playing around with the idea of going back totally on the bariatric product that I was on for my 2 week pre-op diet. I thought I would do it for 1 week and see if that would kick start anything. I just need to get to my surgeon's office to get enough food to get me through a week. We shall see.
What I have heard helps to kick start your weight loss again is to shake things up from what you have been doing.....options are to go strictly on a liquid diet for a week, stop exercising for a couple days, increase your protein and calories for awhile or decrease your calorie intake for a few days and then back to your normal intake. These are only suggestions that I've read. I can't promise any of them willl work, though. Sorry.
