Unhappy iron

i am 2 wks post op and am having a terrible time with taking the iron. the pill goes down ok but i suffer from constipation and burping that is so gross!! is there a different brand to try or is liquid better?? please help.

I'm talking bariatric advantage iron...it's chewable & I'm not having any issues with it. It's 18 mg & I take one every morning. You can go to their website to buy them. They are sold online only as far as I know.

Good luck. I know iron can be awfully hard on some people.

I take feragels that my pcp perscribes. One twice a day and don't forget the vitamin C with that. Barb

My pharmacist recommended a liquid form called Palafer instead of a pill, it comes in a Cherry flavour, but doesn't taste much like cherries, lol. It is 100mg of iron per teaspoon.
