Default Drinking and working out?

I know our large amount of fluids is really important after surgery.. I'm going to have a tough time adjusting to small sips instead of big gulps lol but I was curious about work outs. Usually I take huge gulps drinking it down really fast (when my body is working hard it just seems wants it that way or something haha) but that won't be possible after surgery. How do you manage to get enough to drink while working out if you're only suppose to take little bity sips?

Default Sip, sip, sip

It is super important that you sip your water ALL THE TIME especially because you can't gulp a big glass at a time. I had nothing to drink one morning and after working out was so dehidrated i even got sick. Plus, it's incredibly frustrating when you want to drink like a maniac and simply can't.

Buy an insulated cup and keep it filled by your side always...eventually you'll be so used to it it will be like your cell phone...you won't believe how you ever lived without it.

Katie...everyone's body is different. You may be able to gulp. I have no problem gulping water...but you will have to take it slow to find out. For me...little itty bitty sips was only the first few weeks and then I was back to normal.

I dont think I'll have as hard a time drinking all throughout the day as I will with the working out and drinking combination...it sounds harder. I love doing kickboxing or other classes at the gym and I used to take maybe 2 water breaks over the course of the class which was an hour long. I would run over grab my water take a few huge gulps and go back to my work out. I'm scared I'll get dehydrated by not being able to drink enough water at a time. I guess I'll have to take more water breaks and deal with the slow sipping unless I'm lucky like Cinerbelle and can still gulp it down
