I guess you have to decide what is a complication. A pissy pouch or the occasional pouch issues really isn't a complication. Vomitting all the time, not being able to get in fluids is an issue. If you test the waters (ie: eat too much or what you are not supposed to) then you will have issues.

To me, complications are ongoing issues that cause you to not be able to use the tool the way it was intended. I did have a stricture at 6 weeks out, which is common for my doctor, not all.

Best thing is to follow the rules you have been given and have support - which is sounds like your wife has a great supportive husband. We are here for ya!

The early lookers/lurkers were probably pre-op kittens that are shy and just visiting - don't take offense!

I think I'm picture perfect . . . I didn't have much pain - my c-sections were harder - I had an ulcer . . . no biggy, just about the same pain as someone with really bad heartburn. Life returned - I watch what I eat. I had plastics not because I had to (no rashes or anything) but because I wanted to - ok call it vanity if you will.

It just takes time and understanding to get the social aspect of your life back. My husband HATED eating out with me . . .I was no fun at first - no alcohol, no desserts. . . Now, I can have both in moderation. A few bites of a cheesecake (ok 2 bites) is OK - 3 . . . geesh, I wish I could stand. My tool works and we still enjoy our life.

Oh, and I had a hernia that was repaired with the tummy tuck . . . it didn't have to be repaired either - it was only an inch and a half long. . .

I'm only 2 months out but so far I've not had one complication. I have had only had dumping from shrimp and that wasn't too horribly bad, but was bad enough I won't be trying shrimp again for awhile.
I exercise and do things with my kids now and I feel absolutely great.

Dawn, I'm right there with you in only needing boobs. But I have babies coming to nurse, so boobs will be some time off.

I still don't know. I had some odd movement today and there's no way the baby's length would go from thumb tip to pinky tip on a spread open hand.....and I don't know if they really can move that fast. We're getting a 3D ultrasound soon, so hopefully I'll have some news.

Other than that, it was a general "babies" since more than one are planned.
