Default Protein Bars for a Princess?

Okay all, I need some suggestions for protein bars.

I did read the thread about suggested staple items but I need a protein bar (that I won't dump on!).

I tried a myoplex (sp?) low carb bar, well it had those darn sugar alcohols that Gina warned about and I suffered for the entire day after eating that one!

So, has anyone some suggestions for great protein bars?

I am a total princess about protein - if it doesn't taste good, I am not eating it!! I'm trying like heck to get in my proteins (not a fan of the vials, shots, or shakes!). Thanks all!

Premium Nutrition offers several types of protein bars that are actually easy to eat and drop 30g's of protein a bar. They even have a mini-bar at 15g's that tastes just like a candybar with chocolate, carmel, and pretzels!!! It reminds me of a twix. The 30g Double Chocolate and Chocolate Peanut Butter are my staples. You can also try Stallone Pudding...in chocolate is REALLY good too...also 30gs of protein!
Their Website They sell products at Costco. I buy on-line...just search for the cheapest price. Twisted are the Twix like ones....Chocolate is my Fav.

Zenomia,

Thanks for replying, I'm definitely going to try those out! Anything that would taste like a twix bar and have protein in it is good by me!

Best,
Kimberly

I use the protein bars from www.smartforme.com

I love the choc chip, choc almond and carmel nut the best. I also really like the wafers they offer, soy crunchies and their fruit drinks. If you decide to order from that site you will need a practitioners code. Feel free to use my support group code: LVPMI

Each protein supplement is about 15 grams of protein and is what my surgeon has all of his patients on 2 weeks pre-op and 2 weeks post-op.
