Debbie,
The only advice I have is to come back and re-read this post in 6 months or so... you will be LAUGHING at yourself for thinking the journey is over... and by that time, chances are you'll have gone through another couple of stalls, too. The first one is the worst, mentally-- eventually you'll just be like, "another week with no loss-- oh well!!"
I think a lot of people go into this process thinking that the scale is going to go nowhere but DOWN, on a steady and constant basis... that is SO not true!! There will be days (and weeks, and multiple weeks) where you will lose NOTHING... there will even be days where you GAIN-- and guess what? THAT'S NORMAL. There are so many factors that play into weight loss, even after surgery-- how much salt you ate yesterday, how hot the weather is, where you are in your monthly period cycle-- just because you had surgery doesn't mean these factors aren't going to pop up every now and then, and freeze (or raise) the scale numbers.
If you can't handle the idea of NOT seeing the scale numbers go down, then STOP WEIGHING YOURSELF.Not to sound harsh, but it IS that simple-- what your body is doing is NORMAL, and there's no sense in tormenting yourself if you know you're going to get upset to see that number not moving.
So get in all your protein and fluids, take a couple more walks, take your supplements like you're supposed to, and throw the danged scale away... or at least put it somewhere where you can't touch it more than just once a week, if that. Give it to a neighbor. Make your significant other hide it from you. Put it in the cat litter pan, Whatever it takes.
