Claire,

You are one incredible lady.

Despite the trials of the last few weeks, you've been there for me and I can't express my thanks enough for that.

You've helped me cut through the crud and prioritize the things that matter in my life.

I'm glad you're a part of my life both on and off this board....hugs.

What a great post. YOu are truly an inspiration. A smile sure makes things a lot better, even if they aren't all that good.

Claire, I don't know about strictures, etc...since I haven't had surgery yet. But I do know about making the choice to smile & remain positive even when you feel like crud. I'm blessed to have learned this lesson myself even though it took me 45 years to learn it. Lol
I'm glad you are feeling better & glad you're back.

Paige, you have that right - we DO have a different perspective, and I'm REALLY glad you cut it off, just for this thread, for the sake of the newbies.

Corrine, you are a joy in my life, for sure.

You are different and new and special, and I am enjoying our friendship so much, and that we will continue our journey together.

Tx and Moosie, thanks for your kind words and thoughts.

I think on a forum as this, we need to have balanced show of opinions. What fun would it be if we all agreed and thought exactly the same??? I am glad you are back and feeling better.

Dyann, thank you for your good wishes!

We are in total agreement about balance - I don't know of any two of us who have had the exact same experience on this journey, nor do I know of any two of us who are exactly alike! And that does make it so much fun to share and compare.

The purpose of this thread was to simply point out, particularly to newbies, that there ARE complications and bumps in the road. It isn't a perfect process, just as life isn't perfect.

There have been a number of threads, and there is even a category now, where those needing support for the serious complications can get what they need. But it isn't one extreme or another that *I* was addressing on this thread. I was simply pointing out that bumps in the road, or whatever else we wish to call them, are, generally speaking, just that - bumps in the road on a journey to a miracle.

Best regards,
