Actually, I started feeling hungry about that point, too...not hunger pains, but I could tell when I was hungry. I will always wonder if it has something to do with the fact that my height/stature makes me require more calories to sustain life functions than that of someone shorter than me...

I'll just say that even if you begin to tell when you're hungry, don't forget to follow your doctor's eating instructions. And eat slowly.

I was wondering the same thing. Also, in the first 3 weeks I lost 24lbs (yeehaw!) but this last week my scale is not moving and my stomach growls - are you sure that's gas? I'm concerned about this too and was wondering about the 6 month 'honeymoon' period where one does not feel hungry and was hoping like heck it has not decided to pass me by! Looking forward to seeing more posts on this item!

My scale stopped moving for about a week at week 3 but it has gone down 4 more lbs this week.

Moosie,

Thanks for the reassurance, it's good to know I'm not the only one!

One thing I do know for sure it is not gas, it is definitely hunger that I am feeling. Like someone else who had posted earlier said, I am tall as well and am not eating a lot of calories and perhaps my stomach is empty and need more food. Either way when I do eat I still can not eat a lot of food, which is good. I'm following the plan the doctor has given. Someone suggested slowing down when I eat, which I will try and add extra time for my food. I hope this helps. Thanks for all the suggestions.

I am a little over 3 weeks out and I feel no hunger. If it weren't for trying to get in all the protien I don't think I would eat. I hope we all have continued success losing hunger pains or not.

I find that if I'm active for the day...I get hungry. If I'm just hanging around, I don't get hungry at all.
