Nette,

I am sooo glad to hear that you are feeling better but still keep an eye on that pain. I am the princess of kidney stones, infections and UTI's. If they don't culture the urine they can assume it is a UTI and the medicine sometimes work briefly to come back in a few days and they have to prescribe new meds. There are times they think I have a UTI to find out it is a kidney infection or stone lurking so be careful and take care of it. I know how painful they are as I seem to develop one of 3 issues at least once a month.......Knock on wood it has been a few months now! Drink lots of water sweety!

Weight loss is different for anyone but I know when I lost 30 pounds in two months it was awesome!

Obviousy you are emotiona as well.... the nauseaousness is just part of the deal are you taking any thing like nexium or prevacid? some of us take it for he first year and it really helps.

Default We can only walk our own path

First off - good to see you. Second - watch that pain! Glad you're on meds.

Now - after surgery, I lost 65 pounds in the first 6 months - definately not more than you - but I think more slowly than you. And the other day, at 14 months since surgery, I put on a size 12. You know - it happens. And I work out every day. I thought with how much I exercise, I would drop 100 pounds my first year after surgery easy - well - I didn't. But damn - I look and feel SOOOO much better.

I know how hard it is to feel like it is barely happening but stick to the basics and it will.

Fist off - are you eating enough? How many calories a day? Are you doing your water? Those are the two most important things.

PM if you want to talk about working exercise and stuff. There is always away - but not when you have a UTI infection. If you start moving, you will feel better, sleep better, think more clearly etc. It isn't just about losing faster. Again - I work out every day and my loss is pretty slow, but steady. And that is fine. Come join me in the slow and steady world!
