Question Chow down hubby? whats up?

I have been married to my husband for almost 23 years and knew him for 3 years before that. We basically grew up together.

In all these years he has been thin, even "have to gain weight" thin. About 5 years ago he started gaining a little weight, but was clearly with in the normal to a little pinch and inch stage.

UNTILL....I started with my W.L.S. journey.

He put on about 10 pounds during the year I was thinking about it. Now he has added an additional 10 in the last 7 weeks since my surgery.

He finishes what I don't eat and then some. I am worried as he is from a family with heart conditions. I never thought I would be more worried about his weight than my own.

He won't even work out any more....Que Pasa???

Any suggestions???

One thing I know is that I don't want to say anything because I know what it felt like when someone with good intentions said something to me....HELP!!!!

Rain, that's a tough one. I do not have any advise as of yet. My hubby & I have know each other for a very long time also, he too is thin. My hubby was my pizza hut delivery boy growing up. lol. I don't know what I would do either. I am looking forward to see what people say. Good luck.

Rain,

Your hubby, my best friend. He seems to think he is supposed to eat when he comes over so all the food will be gone and I won't be tempted. When we go out he finishes my food. He is getting a tad "soft". I think that I got to him tonight when I hugged him and told him that I love when he has "meat" on him. I know he will start working out now!

When I had this surgery I would cook in smaller amounts. I would dish everybodies food and not let anyone finish anyone elses food. I sometimes make too much and automatically put it in containers for left overs. Cut back what he gets on his plate and put less on yours.
