I had 2. The G-tube definately took my breath away. The JP I really didn't feel at all. The part that hurt was when the Dr put the Silver Nitrate in where the G tube was. Burned like hell. But after a minute or so it was fine.

I have had two laproscopic surgeries.. gall bladder, and RNY... and have never had a drain? so to me its unusual lol

I had a drain with my LAP, Jen. My surgeon doesn't always put one in but there was signs of a little leak during the surgery and that is why he put one in.
