Unhappy Someone kick me in the pants!!

Hi Everyone,

I have been studing for two classes, (double time) and have stopped walking and swimming. So I need you guys to kick me in the pants. I have stopped lossing weight and my jean shorts are not getting smaller. I am so mad at myself. How do I find a balance to my day? I have to study. I am hoping to get into nursing school and it is based on GPA, so good grades are key. But so is beening healthy. I am almost three months out and still find eating a major chore, it's a pain in the back side. My taste buds are off and I do not feel like eating, but I do eat to live.

Sometimes I wish I was a drug user and/or fill-in-the-blank user. Then the answer would be simple. Stop using the fill-in-the-blank and stay away from people who use fill-in-the-blank. I must eat to live. I deal with food everyday of my life. I strongly dislike (hate) that I must eat to live!

Will this feeling go away and will I like to eat, someday. I guess I never though, I would hate to eat.

I do want to be health. How do I find some balance in my day to day live??

Warm regards,

Cat_Lover

Default I totally feel your pain

Man Get Up and Get Moving!!! NOW!!! It won't get easier. I have started and failed exercise Programs, because i have"no time for studying" but bring flascards for your walk, record yourself and listen to it. Bring study Q&A and quiz yourself. I have fell in that trap many times and i'm just as heavy as i've ever been and now if i exercise i get tendonitis and knee pain. JUST DO IT!!! Nursing school is not any easier. I feel that i have to live breath and eat nursing BUT some of the tips i gave you have helped me. Maybe find a study buddy to walk with you to test each other. That was fun for me! Good LUck

I posted a similar thread a while backI I stopped walking and the scale became my enemy again. It really is incredibly important in order to stay healthy and reach your goal. I have a friend in med school who works out regularly and always finds the time, I'm sure we can too!...take it easy and do what you can when you can, park far away, take the stairs, try to wake up 1/2 hr early and go for a brisk walk...YOU CAN DO IT

Okay....bend over....okay, boot gently but firmly applied to posterior- in a loving manner, of course.

Now- get moving! First, I have seen a lot of people reading while on the treadmills, etc. Second, anything is better than nothing! Right? Right! So you don't have a hour- do 30 minutes! Then, when you go to the store, park at the far end. Walk just once around the block after supper. You don't have to do 1, 5 or 10 miles, just move!

Eating- gee, I wish I felt like you did. Really, all it is, is fuel. If you don't want to make a party out of it, fine! Just make sure you get in your protein and water. Think of it all as "brain food"!

Balance- what the heck is that? It always seems that something is demanding top priority! Yup, for the last 2 weeks it's been work. I did so much OT I never got to the gym. I can't wait to go tomorrow! (I think- I have to get up at 5:30 to get it in!) Still, I had been exercising since March (surgery was 2/12). I felt more...well...balanced when I was exercising!
Shucks, my bowels worked better!
