Default Suplements, I am taking too much?

Okay, I looked at my pile this morning and decided to post and make sure I'm taking what I need:

2- Flinstones multi
2- 600mg calcium
1- B-12
3- 600mg Biotin

Plus tha two daily protein (yuk) shakes!
Should I take anything else? Should I upgrade to adult multi-vitamins?

To me... that looks like exactly what my surgeons office said to take. (Minus the biotin they never mentioned that). As far as flinstones go, they said as long as they are flinstones complete, you dont have to take adult vitamins.. (a vitamin doesnt know you are an adult ) However, I cant stand them, so I take viactiv..

G'Luck!

Looks like you're right on track Elisse. I am also taking a B-1. at about 4 months, I switched to a prenatal vitamin, once I felt comfortable swallowing something that big.

That looks like what I am taking minus the Biotin, and they have me on an Iron Supplement & 3 protein shakes a day if I can get them down. Sounds like you are on the right path.

Default Are you having blood tests done?

I had blood tests done by my surgeon's office every 30 days for the first 90 days, then again at six-month mark, then one-year, and now every 6 months for the rest of my life. Have you had blood tests yet? What did they show?

I thought prenatal vitamins will make you gain weight...I used to love how nice my hair and skin were when I was pregnant.

When I was a month out, my MD changed from the flinstone to a bariatric multivitamin. I also take Iron....gentle iron (ferrous glycinate). If you still have your periods ask your MD about adding it to your routine. I also take essential fatty acid replacement (multi oil from GNC) which is required by my MD.
