Angry Feather Mucker!

Could I actually be having my first complication at almost 2 years out!? Here's the deal. All day yesterday about every 30 minutes or so, I'd get a terrible cramp in my stomach. I didn't know what it could be. I started my cycle yesterday so I thought maybe that's all it was. Even thouhg it was my pouch cramping not my uterus. lol So today I pretty much don't eat anything at all except half an english muffin and two cups of coffee. Not on purpose, I was just really busy. Just now I had a little bit of cevechi and about 4 bites in... here come the cramps again. When I didn't eat I felt fine. So whatcha think peoples?

could be any number of things. Has your cycle ever affected your stomach before?

maybe stress? it seems strange to be so far post op and to all of a sudden have a phsyiscal problem like this. It makes me think its something else. I would think if you were going to have a problem like this it would have already revealed itself.

Only thing I can think of is spastic colon. I get major cramping, but it's caused by colon cramps. Feel free to PM me if you want information... Janie

Default Gal bladder

Do you still have your gal bladder? That is symptom number one!

If you don't, call the doctor. Could just be a touch of stomach flu - but you want to be sure.

oh man I didn't think about that. If you still have your gal bladder that could be major. My sis and my mom both had major major issues with theirs.

I hope thats not it

I don't know about a "cramp", but if it is a pain that comes and goes and is right in your pouch, I'm thinking maybe ulcer. Do you take any acid stuff like Prilosec OTC? I take it every day or I deveop an ulcer.

Default In response to John's post....

I don't want to frighten you, but not necessarily would something have already revealed itself. I didn't start to have any major issues until I was about 3.5 years out. I "lived" with it for a year and a half before I finally sought out some answers (that and each month it was steadily getting worse). It's really hard to say what's going on, but I would keep an eye on it and if it doesn't get better within a week or IF it gets worse go see your doctor A.S.A.P. I hope it's nothing and just goes away. Keep us posted.

Sharon

Who needs the Doctor around here anymore...you all have it down pat.

Was that Decaf coffee??? Reg will put you at higher risk for ulcer!!

Was it only with solid food..any problems with liquids??

I would take some antiacids and call your MD!!! If you start vomiting..get to an ER.

Hope you and the tummy feel better!!!
