Default water

Okay, I know I need to drink lots of water and I've been at this for 6 months now...But I just can't seem to get it in! I hate drinking plain water as it bothers my pouch. It just feels really weird, but if it's Propel or iced tea or Crystal Lite, I'm okay. Does this happen to others too? I drink Propel most of the time and when I am drinking water I'll add in some Crystal Light but really...do I really want to be drinking that all the time? I am actually drinking more water than I ever have in my life, but I know it's still not enough. (too embarrased to tell you how little I drink) I actually wakeup in the morning really thirsty, so I keep a bottle of Propel by my bed and drink before I even get out of bed.

So tell me...What do you do to keep hydrated? I need some help here!

I'm the same way, plain water just doesn't agree with me. Most of the time it tastes bitter. My best friend is crystal lite. I try to drink at least three 20 oz. (or equivalent) bottles every day.

Oh, and the colder it is - the better.

I drink flavored water most of the time. I always have one with me. In the beginning I had to think about it all the time to remember to drink it. I would just carry it around with me. Everything I went to switch to a new activity or change my focus I would make myself drink. Now it is a habit. I just do it. Crystal Light has a great drink out right now Pink Lemonade Hydration. It has extra B vitamins in it, which really helps if you are finding your self to be tired through out the day as well.

Find something that will work for you to remember to get the water in. You are going to have to MAKE yourself do it for a few weeks then it will just become a part of life.

Default Not me

I'm just the opposite - I can drink the water as long as it is ICE COLD. forget the flavored drinks - can't take them except ever once in a great while. I keep trying, but so far, no go. I still don't get all I need to drink in each day.

I feel, lately, I am having such a hard time getting my water in. Do you guys think it really aids in weight loss?

For me I have to say yes. There have been several days in a row where I have not had enough to drink. I am an everyday weight loss checker and when I have not taken in the 64 ounces the scale just doesn't move for me. If I up the water intake then sure enough it begins to move again. Case in point Week 20. I had sooo much going on in my life and water was not on my mind in the least. That was the first week where I went most days with very little water. Only had a sip or two when I was thirsty. Could have been a stall that would have happened either way I guess, but I up'd the water and the scale began to move again.

I may be the exception no way to know for sure. So there you have it my two cents.

I have recently discovered Diet Cranberry and Diet Grape-Cranberry juices - provides a nice break from my normal rystal Lite Lemonade.
