Red face Personal, has anyone ever...

Okay, this is kind of a personal question. [feeling a little embarrassed to ask, **Blush**] has anyone experience a lack of desire to have sex? I seem to be. Thought I might would feel better after loosing a few lbs, with self esteem and all, but instead I want to have sex LESS than before. Is this normal? Any ideas?

During the first couple of weeks I was a bit bad since my energy level was really low. But now, I can't get enough. (so I'm back to normal)

Default Hormons.....

I had the same thing and the doc said hormons..... Estrogen is stored in your fat cells... we are losing those rapidly... it will all balance out eventually

I had a surprisingly low level of interest until about 12 months out. I too had always attributed my low libido to my body, but when that issue was gone...it was just me. Now I would say I am normal, and I didn't really change anything. I just relaxed and it happened. Hubby is happier.

Wink I can relate

Hello Harleykitty,

I am over two months out. I feel better in physical, lost over 30 some pounds, but I lack the desire to have sex. I love my hubby and he wants more sex and I enjoy sex, but I think my hormone levels are all out of balance.

I have no desire for the following:

-Food, I force myself to eat health food, food does not taste the same. Eating to me is a pain in the back side and it's a very big pain. It is a chore.

-Water, big chore. Still I make myself drink.

-Sex, I have to many other things on may mind. Studing, eating/drink, walking and back to studing.

I has not a person who like household chores, but in the last month or so I seem to go on "cleaning mode." My apartment is cleaner. So I hope the above three things will soon become things I want and desire to do.

Warm regards,
Cat_Lover

I have always had a great sex life, the only time mine was "lacking" was when I was taking Spironolactone to try and balance out my hormones, it played havoc, the big "O" was a hard place to find, now I am off them (since surgery) I am one horny mamma again!!!........ Maybe tiredness has something to do with you lack of wanting it??
