Default At a stall and feel like I am out of gas!

I am still at a stall. I am fluctuating between 187 and 190. Since we are among friend I will be honest and say I probably need to pick up my exercise. It just so dam HOT. (Welcome to Arizona) All this heat and now humidity has me whipped at the end of the day. I am so not a morning person so I have a hard time committing to working out in the AM. I think in August I am going to join Boot Camp. That way I am accountable for my performance. The strange thing is through this stall I have gone from a size 12 to a 10. I am a scale addict and I know I need to give it up. I was like a junkie needing their fix when I went to Disneyland this past week. I was stressed that I could not weigh myself for a whole week. I felt like I was gaining weight. I ate OK but I did have A scoop of ice cream and 2 churros the week I was there. Other than that I was good. Not to mentioned I walked the park all day for 5 days straight. Anyway I feel like I am always hungry to. I am scared and do not know what to do. I cant go back to being fat!!!! Any advise is welcome. Sorry I was all over the place.

I am much earlier out than you, but I had a stall at 4-5wks post op. I did loose a size during that time, but no pounds. Then I went on vacation and didn't weigh myself, which was hard for me too. when I got home I had lost 7lbs.

So maybe the scale is just lagging behind like it did for me.

You'll feel better now that you're on your home turf, and can get back into a routine. ICE CREAM???? You can eat ICE CREAM??? I'm both jealous, and not...if I could eat ice cream, i'd be 300 lbs again, it is my weakness...

Default Ice Cream

I almost wish I did dump, it would keep me away from the crap. I can eat anything. Most of the time I do not though I will trade you my being able to eat ice cream for losing 15 pounds any day.

I have to tell you, I am completely in agreement with that statement!
I have been stuck for a couple of months...I'm really towing the line and making the attempt to stay on track. I take comfort in the fact that my INCHES are coming off, even though the scale is not going down. My body is changing...Thank God! But I too want those last 40-50 lbs GONE!

Default I could eat a little icecream but...

I found my limit was 1/4 c. Anymore than that and I would dump. I still am careful with it and try to limit it to 1/4 c. My husband is the icecream addict now, and although I try to stay away from it I do ocassionally have some. I CONFESS!

As far as the plateau...
I think you'll be fine, you're almost 10 months out now right? IMO we are so shocked by how fast the weight comes off at first then as time goes on and it starts to slow down we get a little bumed out, but remember you don't have as much to lose now as you did when you began this journey. So again IMO if you lose a pound or two now it's like losing what 5-10 pounds when you first started, don't you think? You're doing great! You'll be fine.

Start writing everything down that you eat, drink and exercise. Maybe this will help you to see your habits and things that you can change. I was never a believer in little things making a difference, but I have proven that theory wrong..they all add up.

Its normal to stall out, have no loss/gain periods throughout this journey. You still have your tool and can use it to its advantage. Try the list, I find it really really helped me.

Funny thing about stalls. I go for 12 days without the scale moving, and yes it is very frustrating. But, as has been said before, during the stalls is when my body changes, sometimes really dramatically. So I have come to accept the stalls as part of what happens in the body - to some more than others. I truly am eating correctly, drinking correctly, getting the protein. Nature will have to take care of the rest!
