Default PLEASE kick my butt!!!!

It's been almost two months since my operation and everything is super fine; I've lost almost 50lbs, have been strict in my diet, everything has gone down and stayed down well BUT, I have been extremely lazy about getting on that threadmill. I realize this is the time for me to adopt new habits that will ensure the success of my journey but I'm still so darned LAZY!!! Please feel free to be as tough as you may feel it will help get my but in gear!!!! Thanks

I hoped at one point when exercise wasn't so difficult, I would begin to enjoy it. Nope....never happened. I hate it everytime and I am so happy when it is over. But........I think it is the key to continued loss, and maintaining your goal and staying healthy. Now, I don't mind doing abs as I can feel my "core" rather than imagining it.

So go do it because it is the right thing to do for today and forever.

I'm with Dyann....I HATE...with a capitol H exercise. So find something that gets you moving, that you DO enjoy. Like today the kids and I took the bikes out to our bike path and ended up riding 6 miles. I also joined Tae Kwon Do with the kids, something I always wanted to do, but was too fat to try. You just have to MOVE. Exercise doesn't have to be on a treadmill, in a gym or working out with that vile Billy Blanks...(Though it's a great workout!) Do something that gets you moving that you ENJOY!! It doesn't have to be considered "EXERCISE" to do the trick!

I'll be honest, I hate excersice too. But, I have a twelve year old son that comes walking/jogging with me every night. I think without him I would have stopped a month ago. He's the one that tells me "Hey, drink you Protein Shake and lets go" as soon as I get home from work.

I will tell you one thing, I haven't felt this good in 20 years. Keep in mind I'm only 2 months out.

Thumbs up

Thank you guys so much...I see people at the gym and they seem to be enjoying the torture! But really, I'll try to have a more positive attitude. Without exersice there's no way I'll reach my goal...putting on my tennis shoes RIGHT NOW!
