Default A New Kind Of Love - WOWEEEEE!!!

I was so tickled today I could hardly stand it!!

A new Walgreen's opened in our town (it's a first for Walgreen's) and I wanted to go in and take a look since it's on the way to the gym.

It's a lovely store, and they have all kinds of stuff like exercise pants, t shirts, and even pajamas! And the prices were totally nuts because it is their Grand Opening.

I bought two pair of exercise pants for $12 in a MEDIUM, thinking that they won't fit now, but will before too long. I bought an adorable pair of pajamas also $12 (pullover top, drawstring pants, cute print) in a LARGE, thinking they would never fit now because I like my pajamas to be loose.

THEY FIT PERFECTLY!!!! Ohhhhh myyyyy goooooodness!!! I'm really far away from the plus size matronly lady I was!!! My inches are reflecting a smaller me than the pounds are (it's very confusing!!). I am sure it will all catch up. But all I know is that I am wearing clothes for "normal" people.

Just one extra comment -- I do not consider myself "normal" in the real sense of the word, but it is a whole NEW kind of normal for me, a new kind of love!

That's so exciting Claire...question...being 4'10", do you then have to hem everything? My mom is 5'2" (barely) and needs to hem almost everything!

wow very neat. Being on the way to the gym you can pick up all kinds of stuff there to and from.

I found that places around my gym tend to get more business from me these days as well. haha

nice wow moment

I meant to add that you will have to watch the Black Friday advertisements for Walgreen's sales. The have the BEST prices on things the day after Thanksgiving.
We don't have any Walgreen's in my area yet, but we spend our Thanksgivings in South Carolina and they are plentiful there. Between Walgreen's, Goody's and an amazing pottery factory, I did so much shopping last year in South Carolina that I had to have other relatives take my treasures back home in their car because I filled mine to the brim!
Walgreen's had HUGE remote control Hummer model cars in for the kids for $5 each. I bought one for each boy on my shopping list. They also had Dora the Explorer activity tables for the little girls for $5 each. I checked when I got home and they retailed for $30 apiece on Amazon.
I saved so much money there I felt guilty!

Congrats neighbor! You are doing so awesome. It's sort of an odd feeling isn't it? Keep up the good work!
