RELAX, and i strongly suggest that you dont scale watch.
ITs normal even gastric bypass for our bodies to retain
water and have other things that will cause slight swings
in our losses.
IF you find it frustrating i would do biweekly weigh ins!
I hate to admit pre TOM i can gain 7 lbs! and it sucks
but its a reality!
HANG in there maybe something you ate had you retain
a drop of water happens!
hugs

The weight will come off...trust me. I wasn't able to weigh myself for the first month after my surgery...due to an obstruction, having to have a 2nd surgery, and then having pneumonia, I spent a lot of time in the hospital. So, I never went through the scale watching..until I was already a couple months out..and by then, I'd dropped 30 pounds or so. I totally missed the 220's, 210's, and 200's! I still weigh in every Friday, and I record it...but I don't obsess about it. I know if I eat right and exercise a bit...the weight will come off. I have lost 10 pounds in the last 10 weeks, which isn't much, but still, the scale is going the right way! Please don't stress, that weight will be off before you know it, and you will be a happy girl! I lived on chili and refried beans early on! It was great! I loved saltines and tuna also. Oh, did I mention my goldfish cracker addiction? Yes, I have them...a lot! I've always had carbs..not a ton..but enough. I'm sure it's why I am losing slower than some, but I don't feel right if I cut carbs too much! I get all lightheaded and weird! Take care...and please don't worry..this surgery will work for you!

Get rid of the scale. Only weight once a week. There is more success in this other than the scale - which will go down....you will see.

You are healing right now and your body has been through trauma. Keep following the rules, keep to small portions, take your measurements faithfully every week and be patient. It will happen for you.

Then you are fine. Let you're body adjust. This journey is more mental than anything.
