Default Platue??

I am about 5 months out of surgery and am starting to platue, I think. The weight has pretty much stopped coming off. So now the hard work begins to step up my work outs to lose the last 80 lbs or so to reach goal. Is this about the right time for me to platue?
Thank you to everyone for the kind words and votes of confidence for my other post with my before and after pics. I am a blessed man for the beautiful and wonderful family that I have.
P.S. When will my hair start to grow back? At least I hope it grows back lol.

Thumbs up

I think you have done great.I also stopped losing weight at about 5 months and then at my one year I lost another 30 with no changes made in diet or activity.During the non-weight loss time I continued to lose inches so keep measuring.

Congrats thus far and the rest will come off soon...your body is doing great!

Yup, you'll probably go a little slower for awhile, then boom! the scale will surprise you! Your hair will come back. I was at the salon this weekend, she says I have all kinds of new growth!

Dr. Callery did my surgery the day after yours....I've lost 62 lbs so far (dang, wish I were a man and could say I've lost more!) and yep...All of a sudden I've hit a platau too over the past 2 weeks. However, my body is changing because I'm losing inches. I've just been frustrated over the past 2 weeks! Keep up the protein, water, and workouts...I know this will pass for us!

I am 7 months out and at a plateau too I think. I have done what everyone says, continued to lose inches when I am not losing pounds. I was fearful that I am eating the wrong things, but I am eating my protein first and then veggies when I can...

Hang in there.
