Talking Did I Miss Much?

Hi All!

I'm finally home. I feel like crud, look like frankenstein with all the staples, and smell like the south end of a skunk going north.

If you've never had the pleasure of trying to wash while being in a hospital gown, IV and heart monitor strapped to your chest - your time will be coming - I promise you!

It was great having Donna and Michelle come see me, you have no idea how much that visit helped me! You two are wonderful friends!

I've already brushed my teeth, and getting ready to take a nice warm shower. Then, I'm going to sleep with my bolster pillow where no one can poke, prod, or sneak in a B-12 shot on my A$$! Or ask why I can't sleep - at 3:30 in the morning - while they take your vitals?

Your comments and support has touched my heart so much, even though I don't believe I deserve it (please understand - that's just the way I am!) I truly do appreciate it, very much.

So, when I get up, I think I will have one of those wonderful gourmet ice pops everyone talks about so much.

Pat:
We are there with you all the way. We took showers and last night we slept in our own bed with no banging or clanging from nurses going up and down the hall. They asked me why we couldn't sleep Dorene told them she thought it sounded like a laundry shoot going by her room so we would walk to each others room and talk. It is great being home. Take care Pat!!

Pat it is so good to have you back!!!!!!!

Just as I expected your first post back was a hoot to read.........and like you were a while back I can't wait until all those things are happening to me because that means I am on the losing side.

Rest up because I am looking forward to some more great updates.
