Default Welcome to the lighter side...

Glad you're home and OK, Patrick. Hope your "hell" week is merely a "heck week."

Now, listen, Pat! You DEFINITELY deserve the friendship and love that is coming your way. You deserve it because you bring out the best in all of us without even trying to do that. It's a lovely personal trait you have and one I admire greatly.

Pat, I want to give you a little heads up about the first month. I didn't know it, and I wish I had. There could be a week or two in there where you feel really bad. It's because of your body re-arranging itself to live with your new insides, and it can make you feel kinda sickish. Don't let it scare you - it passes, and it is wonderful on the other side.

Welcome to the losers bench, my friend! I see you are already showing some of that already!!!!! Go, PAT!!

Patrick....I can't remember if I posted already....so you may hear from me twice on here! Anyway, welcome home!!! I'm so glad you are doing well. Take life easy and enjoy the time off! Starbuck's was really good early on..and still is today! I still get everything decaf and sugarfree. (iced vanilla latte or carmel machiatto are my favorites). I don't get FF milk, I get the whole milk or soy..but that's just my preference. I remember hell week...as they call it. I actually felt great that first week..until the obstruction...then I experienced hell month!! It just amazes me how our bodies heal and bounce back! It's quite the miracle! I'm so thankful to be feeling this good! You'll be having that same feeling in no time!!!
