Ok as most here know I'm only one week post-op.

I'm having issues with light headed and dizziness when I stand up.
I've been intaking my liquids and have tryed as much as I can to take the protein things. What am I doing wrong here ? I have to go back to work on Monday and can't go in like this. (taking another week off work isnt an option)

I don't see my surgeon guy till Tuesday. I have an appointment to have my stitches/staples removed.
As for work, I work all day behind a desk doing motions, petitions and appeals (I work in a law firm) so its not strainuos, and I have no option for more time off.

Yes, I was on BP medications, I thought this may be the problem so I stopped taking them.

All I know is that this is turning into a serious problem for me.

Did you stop taking the BP medication on the advice of your surgeon? I had to continue taking mine for about 4 months after surgery but he adjusted the dosage so that it was smaller until I finally didn't need it anymore. You might need to continue with the medication for a little while until your body adjusts to the rapid weightloss.

I just measured my BP at that Walmart Machine and it was 98/67. I was only on the water pill thing (my normal BP use to range 150/110)

I ran a brief search here and came up that this is a common problem for some people that have had WLS. As suggested, I have upped my B-12 intake. I think its working. Haven't felt too dizzy since I started doing this.

And for those that asked, yes I am taking all my supplements.

I will keep everyone posted on this progress.
