Default Calories, how many should I be eating???

I will be 5 months out in a few days. I wasn't able to make my last month's appointment with my nutritionist due to 2 death's in my family. So needless to say I really have no idea how many calories I should be eating right now. I have a feeling I am not eating enough and maybe that has slowed my weight loss down. Any info or suggestion's would be greatly appreciated.

Thumbs up Calories

Shannon,

Personally, I don't really count calories on a daily basis. I just try and eat healthy and focus on protein first. However, I also know that I am not eating a TON of calories, like I did before surgery either and I am still slowly losing and trying to exercise as well.

I am also further out than you are so I should probably be counting more so I can maintain this weight and maybe lose a few more pounds..

I am thinking you should be eating about 500 calories at that stage?? I can't really remember what they said to eat.. sorry. It's all individualized anyway.. good luck to you.

Keep up the great work..

Smile Calories.....

Dont fret too much about caloric intake. Like Kina suggested, concentrate on protein first... count that. You should be taking in no less than 30-65 grams of protein a day... somewhere in that range and you are doing fine. Also look in your binder ( the almighty word) in the nutrition section AND reschedule that appt with the office! Its very important that you are monitored your first year..... best wishes sugar pea, I hope this is useful.
