I haven't seen any posts from Leesa in a long time. I emailed her a few days ago and got no response. Has anyone talked to her?? I am concerned.

I've been wondering about her myself, I hope someone's talked to her. I can't imagine being so newly post-op and dealing with the death of a parent so close together like that.

Default I talked to her on the phone Saturaday

I called her on Saturday. They just did the funeral on Thursday, I think she said. She hasn't been e-mailing either. I too am worried about her. She was only what a week out when all this happened. I know it will make her feel better to know we care. I'm going to drop her another e-mail and let her know folks are looking for her.

I love you all so much! I am okay. It doesn't feel as lonely when I see how much you all care. My Father did pass away last Monday night (Tuesday was one week out) and I found him. The good in all of this was that aside from being sick over the last 5/6 months when my father passed he didn't look as tho he suffered. He was mowing his grass went and got some ice water and sat down in a chair in the garage...put his head back and went. For that I am so so grateful!

Thank you all so much for all you prayers again I can't tell you what you all mean to me. As far as my surgery has gone I haven't had any complaints other than just being tired and last week because there was so much to do I was extremely sore around my drain...GOOD NEWs I get it out tomorrow!

Thank you all so much for being here for me!

Leesa,
SO sorry to hear about your dad passing. You are going through so much now and trying to adjust, try and take care of yourself. I am happy you will be getting that silly drain out! Watch out! It is not a nice feeling. I am going to my six month post op on Friday, so I am excited. We will see what he says about my progress! 60 pounds in 6 months. I wish it were more, but oh well. ttyl
