Oh yeah...I knew this would be one you would "totally get", Dyann. You know when I got to the point that I couldn't even find scrubs in the hospital that would fit it really effected the way I felt about myself. I was SO embarresed. I had to go and buy a few pairs of scrubs that I would take home and wash, then bring them back for the next time I worked. It still gives me a thrill to be able to walk on the unit and grab scrubs that I don't have to panic about knowing if they will fit or not or try to hide the fact that I had to bring in my own scrubs from home.
