My leg is doing much, much better. The pain subsided Sunday evening and through Monday. I think that's when the antibiotics finally decided to kick in! Friday, my liver enzymes had gone down a few points but were still quite elevated. My doc ordered an upper right quadrant ultrasound at the insistence of my surgeon to rule out anything with the gallbladder. I have no abdominal pain, no tenderness, and no trouble eating or drinking. My doc didn't really think I needed it but she ordered it anway because my surgeon insisted. My only problem right now is this confounded itching! It has to stop before it drives me crazy! I can get temporary relief with lotion, Benadryl, etc., but it is very temporary. I have scratched some areas of my body so much that I am all red and splotchy. I've even bruised myself in some places! Yuck!
