Default Stabilizing at 10 months?

So...My body seems to want to stay put at 140ish. I have tried everything...Excersise, more water, more protein, less calories...But still nothing. Is it possible that my body is done? My nutritionist said that I could get down to 135 if I wanted to, but there was no need because I'm within a "healthy" BMI.

I want to be skinny

I'm so confused

I know there are alot of people in here who really slow down at the end. Van from Florida says she stopped for months and thought she was done and then started loosing again. She said she lost like 30 more pounds. I have really slowed down the loss. For a while I thought I was done too. I am loosing again but not with out ups and downs, very slow..... 5lbs is really nothing in the whole scheeme of things. I would just love to get down to 150 or so....seems soo far away......
Don't sweat it, be good to your body, you have done an amazing job in 10 months......
Good luck
Lori

Jennifer - I was stable for about 8 weeks . . . and only 5 pounds from my goal (and 10 months out) I thought, OK this is it . . . my body likes 145. Then after about 8 weeks at 145, I lost 2 pounds one week, one pound the next, then 3 pounds . . . .

I didn't really change all that much - I was traning a bit harder for a tournament, but nothing exciting.

Maybe this is only a plateau for a while.

Ohhhhh!

Well that's totally different then! I mean, if the fortunes are good, eat several of them!!! Heheheh.

I'm just razzing you...you're doing terrific. Don't worry, you're at a plateau...it will resume losing, just keep up the good stuff...(and maybe only ONE fortune cookie per day?)

I am 7 months out and I am staying at 150-151, just cant get to goal. Its been a month since I have been at this weight. My surgeon said my body would stop when I was to a weight that I should normally be. So maybe this is it, but 150 is good compared to what I was.
