Hmm.. You never know, but I know its pretty hard to send food items from US. I know there are even issues sending out liquid vitamins as they are a liquid product...
I can go to Costco and get a 2.2kg (i think) bag for about the same price. Really its a small price to pay for good protein.
The fruit and veggies are crazy right now. Makes me mad, but I always think about the $30 pizza price for one large loaded with fat and grease and then compare my bag of milk or $8 cauliflower and its all worth it in the name of health.

I remember my fist week, would sit and cry for hours with the "why did I do this" The first 3 weeks dont worry so much about your counts of protein, water etc, just do what you can, sip walk rest, repeat. Sugarfree popsickles are a life saver in those days.It will get better like everyone before me said. This is a Hell week but each day is better and better and as the pounds start melting off you WILL remember WHY you did it!!! Take care and feel better. God Bless you.

I didn't read every page of the thread so I hope I didn't miss anything super important, but I just wanted to offer my support. It WILL get better!! I freaked out about a month out and I just look back and marvel at how silly I was. It will be worth it, believe it.

Its amazing the differences in prices. Some things about the same, others a BIG difference. I guess in the long run, I can't put a price on my health. Didn't have to pay a dime for my surgery, so will spend the extra dimes on clothes, powdered milk and veggies.
Beef and Pork are supposed to sky-rocket here, seafood prices are pretty stable.
If/When I cross the border...I might need a refridgerated U-haul to bring back all my stuff! LOL

Thats probably true. I will end up paying about $250 for surgery... that includes all the office visits, nutritionalist, and hosp stay. I cant complain abuot that... however.. if you want stuff shipped... Im not that far from Canada... Im a lifetime away from Alberta lol.. not sure where you are in relation to that.. but we have post offices!

I for one don't think that your a wimp! It is not easy to get everything in - or even want to get it all in. I simply refused to eat anything - everything tasted and smelled like crap. So you are not alone there.
What kind of protein are you using? I ordered 6 different types of protein mix but have only used two of them as the others make me gag! My favorite is the ON Whey Double Chocolate. I mix it with low fat milk and it's just like drinking a McDonald's milk shake Two shakes (16 ounces) that I mix double gets all of my protein in (140gr).
Good luck to you - it will get better as everyone has said.
