Default Somethings gotta give!!

O.K. I have been stuck at my weight for long enough!! I went to the gym and started with a trainer!!! The weird thing was that when he weighed me I was 252??? Even though my home scale has been screaming 260-259 for over a week. What is up?? any way, I am trying not to focus on the numbers.

Wish me luck with my work outs.

By the way, I am going tomorrow to the Thursday support meeting. Looking forward to meeting some of you!!

I am also hosting a N.C. Support group in my home in O'side/Vista area. Stuart and Christina are going to the lead the group, anyone interested in coming let me know. It is 1-25 @ 6:30p.m.

Rain

Thumbs up dagonne numbers

Rain,

You're right, don't focus on the numbers. If you are anything like me I only noticed inches coming off when I wasn't losing weight. Heck I've been at the same weight for over a month and have gone from a size 12 to a size 6 while sitting at this weight.. go figure!! Either way you are going to a trainer and working out so your weight loss may slow down for a bit but it will pick up again. Remember muscle weighs more than fat so you may be getting some muscle tone underneath that fat that you aren't aware of. Lean muscle mass.. who would've known?? LOL

Ask Tonya she went through this too when she started with her trainer. I got a free workout with a trainer the other night at the gym and let me tell you.. he worked me harder than I ever work myself. He was trying to sell me the training package but I just remembered the routine so I wouldn't have to pay.. I know I'm bad but man those gyms can surely be money pits for us who don't have the money to spend.. so I am ok going at it on my own..

Hang in there.. it will start dropping again.. also remember you get little lul's not quite plateau's.. at different stages while your body is catching up with your new lifestyle.. Your body thinks it's starving and so it is doing everything in it's power to hold on to your reserve of fat cells.. just know this process is going to work for you.. don't give up yet girlfriend.. you are just beginning ..

Default Rain,

Yeah, we all struggle with those dang numbers. Good for you for kickin' it with a trainer at the gym!

I'm looking forward to meeting you at the support group meeting tonight.
