Red face Single digits!

I just had to post this....
After last week at the east county support group, my chief complaint was that I had been on a plateau for the last month. I'd been at just about the same weight, up and down, playing with the same 3 pounds since the 13th of December. Finally, that plateau has broken!!!
I've concentrated more on having breakfast, Dale, Christina have told me that, and Bridget mentioned at the meeting, sometimes I'm just not hungry, but, I'm just not hungry most of my days since surgery, I know now that, too bad, we have to eat whether or not we're feeling that old passion. I endeavor to get in as close to my 64 ounces of liquid as I can, and I move more. Immediately, as I started doing these things, and I don't know if it was because of these, or if it was just my body saying, "okay, you've been sitting at this weight long enough, I'll move now" the scale started going down.. who knows, but, I had to come share with my "geese" and my "flakes"... I hit the single digits this morning!! I couldn't believe it!!
When I hit my first goal of making 100 pounds by my 5 months out of surgery, I set my next goal of being below 300 by Valentines day. Well, that's 4 weeks from today, and I have 9 pounds to go! I've been averaging about 10 pounds a month for a while, and for me, I like that... I know it's not a huge amount, but, I'm older, and I'm still on insulin, those two things keep me from dropping very fast, and in a year, that's 120 pounds, I LIKE that even more!!!
I'm already smaller than I was when I met my sweet husband, so, from here on out, he's got a new wifey every day! Are we having fun yet?? OH YEAH!!
I have a long way to go, but, there's such a big change in everything, even my BMI is down into the 40's from starting at 67.8, there are several meds Im no longer on, even my blood pressure is normal, my cholesterol is normal, there's so many things, even Kelly was happy with me on Friday when I went for my 6 month check up, she promised me my hair WOULD grow back! LOL my fingers are crossed!
Thank you everybody, all of you, you're all my snowflakes, part of the flock, I treasure you all! I count you all a blessing.....

Congratulations Sandi and cheers to you and your new life (new wifey ), and to your continued and improving health.... here's to your next 40 years....

She came in quietly with lady like grace,
She sat in tha back and had a smile on her face.
She endured so much, in the want to be well,
Test after test, she endured such hell.
The good news came, you're clear lets set a date,
Finally came the day, you for so long had to wait.
5 months have passed, and your on the road to fewer meds...

Congratulations Sandi on your single digit,
